I know I haven't been doing many blog posts, but I have a few upcoming events that I will love to share. Of course we have to wait until after the events and until I can write about them. Keep checking in for trips, birthdays, and a lot of pool fun!

Let Us Pray

We all need to join together to stop these stupid shootings. I can't believe our society has become this stupid and low that mothers and fathers are frightened to send their kids to SCHOOL! School is an environment for children to learn and make friends and be social. These tragedies make me angry and mad at the world for actually putting children into danger while they are trying to have fun. There has been at least one shooting each week. One of them happened on my best friend's birthday. I can't rap my head around the fact that people were dying on Valentine's Day. I am so disappointed in the world. This is really how the world lives and works? People keep saying "Let us pray and take a moment of silence". Well, you know what? I'm tired of the silence. It isn't doing anything. Am I correct? We need to stand together and put the world back into its place. I can't speak for everyone, but this world needs to change. I know people say these things, but no one actually gets off their couch and does anything. Maybe I will get off the couch and get a glass of warm milk because I am tired of all the coldness in this world. Before we know it, we will be the reason Earth dies. MAKE A CHANGE!!

Life Update

Well, a lot has happened in the past few months. For a start, my best friend joined my dance class and our recital is coming up. I can't wait to dance my heart out! I take jazz class. Next year, I want to do both hip hop and jazz. And my birthday happened! Next, I am going to be on a Microsoft commercial! We shot the video like two months ago so I don't know when the video comes out. I have also been helping with the special needs kids that go to my school. I love them all soooooo much! I do PE with them and we are having an ice cream party later the school year! I am going to bring Popsicle to their class!

And I am going to be student ambassador for open house at school. My teacher picked another student and I to be ambassadors. When people come to open house, we will pass out flyers and give them name tags. We will also tell them where the food is and help with the photo booth. Oh, and the silent auction. I can't wait for the next two months!

Christmas is coming!

Guys, I am so ready for Christmas! I am so excited! We even decorated our entire house the day before Thanksgiving! I have a busy week at school ahead of me and we have a Holiday Party in our classroom. On Christmas Eve, I'm celebrating at my family's house and we're going to make cookies and all sorts of goodies! Just yesterday, we practically changed around our entire two bedrooms. Now, we have a guest room/office and we cleaned everywhere! What did you guys do this weekend?

June 18th, Day 1 of Summer Vacation

So my Dad's parents live in Arizona. About maybe 5 times a year my Dad drives my family out to Arizona to visit my grandparents. This trip my Mom couldn't make because she had to work. So it was just the three of us. My sister, Kelcie, my Dad, Ron, and me, Delaney. We were on the road for about 5-6 hours until, finally, we pulled up into the driveway. My grandma impatiently came out of the house from the front door to greet us. We unpacked quickly and headed out the door to eat lunch with my grandparents. My grandpa actually was in a submarine during World War 2.

We walked into the building and found the elevator to get to the second floor. As the four of us walked in his room, we could hear the TV on and the heat was splashing all over us with sweat. We found him sleeping away in his bed. I came over to the side of his bed and shook his arm slightly and he woke up instantly. He got up and sat in his wheelchair waiting for me to push him. We walked down stairs and I wheeled him to his seat where two other World War 2 fighters were waiting. My family, not including grandpa, sat at the table next to him and ate lunch.

We said our goodbyes and went home to relax. The rest of the day we stayed home and relaxed.

Girl's Night!

My friends Mia and Catherine and I had a sleepover. I was so excited! We stayed up till 3:30 in the morning! We watched like two movies and Catherine has two little brothers and we were playing with them, too. We made a fort and watched a few videos on YouTube.
